To create a rapid execution friend get friend campaign for lead generation and to increase our social media presence.
To achieve this we launched a social media based online campaign called ‘New Heights’ where students could win a real-life trip to New Zealand.
By answering questions about living and studying in New Zealand students could flying a virtual hot air balloon from their home country to ours.
To help them power their hot air balloon to reach New Zealand faster, they could gain extra speed (or wind) by having their friends and family show their support through likes and shares in social media.
This campaign went from concept to execution within three weeks and was promoted through social media marketing across the target markets and within our existing social media community.
Over 1,400 people entered and engaged deeply with this campaign, providing us with a substantial database of very high-quality leads.
